Full Video Proves John Kelly Wrong About 2015 Rep. Wilson Speech

As the feud between Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) and the Trump White House spins off into countless side arguments, full video of a 2015 speech by Wilson proves Trump’s chief-of-staff John Kelly recently misrepresented her words. On Thursday, Kelly took the podium at the White House press briefing to chastise Wilson for criticizing Trump’s phone call with the widow of a U.S. soldier killed in Niger as being “insensitive.” In addition, Kelly personally attacked the congresswoman, claiming that during a somber dedication of the new Miramar FBI building, Wilson’s speech focused on “how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building.” The Sun-Sentinel reported, however: “Wilson said Kelly’s comment was a fabrication, that she wasn’t even elected to Congress when the funding for the building was approved. A Sun Sentinel video of the event supports Wilson’s version of the events.”
