It’s a quick start to the week for the marriage-equality fight. Yesterday, the ACLU filed a suit in Wisconsin, and now today a U.S. district judge will begin considering a reversal of Virginia’s gay-marriage ban. The case is on a fast track and has added celebrity lawyers Theodore B. Olson and David Boies, who helped overturn California’s Proposition 8. Depending on Judge ­Arenda L. Wright Allen’s decision, the case could be on its way to the Supreme Court. In addition, last Friday four lesbians brought a class-action lawsuit against the Old Dominion for denying equal rights to same-sex couples.
