Activists across the nation are snapping photos of themselves kissing at their local Chick-Fil-A in response to the company’s record-setting appreciation day. Gay rights groups encouraged same-sex couples to post pictures of their kisses across social media platforms, like their Facebook page, but not to eat at the restaurant, and instead donate the cost of a meal to gay and lesbian rights groups. Organizers say 15,000 people have signed up to participate. No incidents have been reported yet, but at the Chick-Fil-A in Hollywood, police were called to stop the aggressive media from harassing the employees.
