After a string of attacks in which Afghan police and soldiers have killed international troops serving in Afghanistan, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, arrived in Kabul on Monday to meet with leaders. “He’s certainly talking about a number of issues, including progress with the [military] campaign and the like,” said spokesman Jamie Graybeal. “He’s also obviously talking about the insider attacks.” In an attack Sunday an American soldier—the 10th in two weeks—was killed when Afghan police fired on U.S. troops.
