General Motors is ending production of the Chevy Bolt EV and EUV, marking the end of one of the most affordable electric vehicles on the market. Currently, the cars start at $24,000 and can be even cheaper for those applying for the electric vehicle tax credit, The Verge reports. Those looking for an electric vehicle on a budget will have to turn to the Chevy Equinox EV, which will start at $30,000 when it is released later this year.
