For some politicans, socks are just another part of the wardobe to blend together in perfect harmony with the rest of a dark suit. But for George H.W. Bush, who was honored by President Obama at the White House on Monday, socks are an excuse to have some fun. Bush Sr., who turned 89 on June 12, has taken a liking to the accessory. He's been seen recently in everything from bright stripes to American-flag socks, and politicians have responded in tribute, with pictures of their own favorite socks. Behold, H.W.'s six best socks.
