It ain’t over ’til it’s over. The San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night became the third National League team ever to come back from a 3-1 NLCS deficit to advance to the World Series after besting the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 during a massive rainstorm. The Giants’ World Series trip seemed out of reach many times this season, especially as the team had to win six elimination rounds and was only one game away from defeat by the Cardinals, the reigning World Series champs. The Giants will face the Detroit Tigers, who swept the Yankees.
