Rudy Giuliani, one of President Donald Trump’s attorneys, said on Wednesday that the president repaid his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen after Cohen wired $130,000 to porn star Stormy Daniels to stay silent about an alleged affair with the president. Giuliani said during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity that Trump “knew the general arrangement” but not the “specifics.” The president has previously said that he didn’t know that Cohen made the payment. But Giuliani said Trump paid Cohen back “over a period of several months” and that the payment didn’t constitute a campaign finance violation.
