The Golden State Warriors are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1975 after a 104-90 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of the Western Conference playoffs on Wednesday. Stephen Curry had 26 points and eight rebounds while Harrison Barnes scored 24 points. Houston’s Dwight Howard scored 18 points and had 16 rebounds. “The Bay Area’s been waiting for 40 years,” Curry said. “I think it’s time.” The Warriors will face off with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers beginning June 4.
