Google is set to take over the sky with the experimental mobile network it plans on launching in the "coming months." According to the company's senior vice president of products, Sundar Pichai, it will merge cell and Wi-Fi networks together in a "seamless" way and is working with other carriers to make this happen. Verizon has been floated as a possible partner but that hasn't been confirmed. Another Google project is working on putting balloons and solar-powered planes in the sky that will bring Internet into remote markets.
