NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has captured Saturn’s rings in all their glory. The agency released an image from a near-infrared camera that shows the planet looking quite dark because the sunlight is being absorbed by methane gas. But the rings—made up of rocky and icy fragments—glow bright. NASA said astronomers can also see three of Saturn’s moons: Dione, Enceladus, and Tethys.
