Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham told CNN on Tuesday that he wants to look into whether there are any ties between President Donald Trump’s businesses and Russian interests. Graham says he was spurred by former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s “no comment” answer at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Monday when asked about whether he was concerned about potential Trump business ties to Russia. Graham told CNN’s Manu Raju that Trump’s tax returns would be “helpful” as part of such a probe, but he declined to say whether he would subpoena those records.
