Hailee Steinfeld is the new face of Miu Miu, Prada’s younger line, the fashion house confirmed Monday. Steinfeld, 14, was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in True Grit last year. And since then, she’s proven herself to be a veritable style star: she stood out at the SAG Awards in a Prada bubble-gum-pink and orange gown, and has supported young talent—such as when she wore a white dress by up-and-comer Prabal Gurung to the Golden Globes. Steinfeld’s Academy Awards appearance, however, was a crowning moment, when she wore a custom-made Marchesa princess dress down the red carpet.

Steinfeld has already been photographed for the line's upcoming campaign. “We formed a relationship with them at the SAG Awards,” Steinfeld’s stylist, Karla Welch, said when reached by The Daily Beast on Monday. “Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear.”

Steinfeld caused a frenzy in the front row of Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2011 fashion show last season, where she was reportedly mobbed by editors. As Welch told The Daily Beast in February: “A good dress opens many doors.”
