Almost two months after announcing he was leaving The Simpsons, voice actor Harry Shearer is back for the show’s 27th and 28th seasons, according to a Fox announcement. The network said it is “proud to confirm that each and every member of the iconic series’ voice cast will be returning in the roles they’ve brought to life since the show’s beginnings as a series of animated shorts nearly 30 years ago.” Shearer voices numerous characters on the show, including Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers, Ned Flanders, and Principal Seymour Skinner.
