In his first interview since his wife, Georgina Chapman, announced she was leaving him following a cascade of sexual harassment and assault allegations, Harvey Weinstein told Page Six TV's Emily Smith that he is “profoundly devastated,” adding, “I have lost my wife and kids, whom I love more than anything else.” Weinstein also commented on the former friends from both Hollywood, like Meryl Streep and Judi Dench, and politics, like Hillary Clinton and the Obamas, who have spoken out against him in recent days. “I don’t know what to say. With some [people I considered close friends], it saddens me,” he said. Earlier in the day, TMZ reported that police responded to Weinstein's home when his 22-year-old daughter called 911 to say that he might be suicidal.
