In an email to 2008 campaign alumni, Hillary Clinton's expected campaign chairman John Podesta announced, "It's official, Hillary's running for president." Shortly after the email, the webiste for Clinton went live, which included the campaign video below. In the video, Clinton appears at the end and declares, "The deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion." In the email, Podesta notes that Clinton will travel to early primary states Iowa and New Hampshire. There will also be a "formal kickoff event next month."
