British police in the rural hamlet of Pitcombe have been searching for a vandal who drew a Hitler mustache on a poster of local Conservative councilor Mike Beech. Beech himself reported the vandalism to police, who have put at least four officers on the case. They have conducted house-to-house interviews at each of the hamlet’s 20 houses. “The police came to the village three times,” says one local. “It was a complete waste of time by the police.”
