‘Hope’ Artist Calls Obama a Failure

Shepard Fairey, who designed the famous “HOPE” poster of Barack Obama in 2008, says he’s disappointed in the man he partially helped elect as president. Esquire asked Fairey if he thinks Obama has lived up to his poster. “Not even close,” Fairey said. “Obama has had a really tough time, but there have been a lot of things that he’s compromised on that I never would have expected. I mean, drones and domestic spying are the last things I would have thought [he’d support].”
