The so-called “house of horrors” where David and Louise Turpin allegedly tortured their children is on the market. The four-bedroom house in Perris, California, was put up for auction this weekend—and bidding was up to $250,000 by Sunday morning. There is no mention of the home’s ghastly history in the listing on Hudson and Marshall, though a company representative told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that those details would be added. The Turpins are charged with abusing 12 of their 13 children, keeping the children locked up and starving until a 17-year-old escaped and called 911.
