Sometimes even a classic tradition needs some updating. Enter the 2017 Puppy Bowl and Kitten Bowl.
Featuring adorable and adoptable kittens and puppies, each event will be available to live stream online. The Kitten Bowl will air on the Hallmark Channel beginning at 12:00 p.m. EST and the Puppy Bowl will air on Animal Planet at 3:00 p.m. EST.
Competing in the Puppy Bowl XIII are Team Ruff v. Team Fluff, including some of your soon-to-be favorite players, like Lucky, Buttons, Parfait, Peanut, and Slippers. Kitten Bowl IV will feature four teams: The Last Hope Lions, Boomer’s Bobcats, the Home and Family Felines, and the Northshore Bengals. Four teams is an unconventional choice for a Super Bowl-inspired game, but if it allows for more cute kitties, we’re on board.
