Department of Homeland Security Secretary and âICE Barbieâ Kristi Noem is living up to her jobâs billing, taking on no less than four public safety roles in as many days.
But Noem might struggle to find space for all of her new outfits in her wardrobe as she has just completed an action-packed week of photo opportunities.
Trumpâs glam border enforcer hopped into the cockpit of a Lockheed C-130 Hercules surveillance plane on Mondayâcomplete with the trademark leather aviator jacket, of course.
She added firefighter to her roster, also on Monday, after she participated in a firefighting drill during a tour of a U.S. Coast Guard Air Station in Kodiak, Alaska, the same place she grabbed the controls of the C-130.
The 53-year-old donned the firefighting gear, complete with yellow helmet, grabbed a hose and helped put out a fire on a training helicopter.
The day before, Noem was out on the water with the U.S. Coast Guard in San Diego, California. True to form, she wore the uniform as she joined the Maritime Security Response Team for a counter-terrorism exercise.
And thatâs not all: She was also playing border enforcer at San Ysidro Port of Entry, in San Diego. There, she witnessed U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers uncovering bricks of cocaine hidden in a vehicle trying to gain entry into the United States.
And yes, she wore CBP-branded gear.
Noem praised the K9 officers who helped in the crackdown. âOur CBP K-9s are on the front lines of finding deadly drugs, smuggled humans, and keeping our law enforcement safe,â she wrote on X after that visit.
On Saturday, she was at the Mariposa Port of Entry, in Nogales, Arizona. There, she rode a four-wheeler during a tour along the border wall, which separates the U.S. from Mexico.
âEvery day is Halloween for this lady. Iâve never seen an adult change costumes more often than Kristi Noem,â one person reacted on social media.
Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of MeidasTouch, wasnât so forgiving. âCan DOGE look into how much money we are spending on Kristi Noemâs costumes and photo ops?â he said.
Noem first gained her âICE Barbieâ nickname after she got dolled up and tagged along on raids with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
In January, she joined the first major deportation raids in New York City followingâs President Trumpâs return to the White House. She reprised her role earlier this month when she joined ICE for raids in Virginia.
