Apparently Santa forgot to leave a forwarding address when he moved to the North Pole. A couple living on West 22nd Street in Chelsea has been mysteriously getting letters to Santa Claus—more than 450 of them so far—written by children from around the New York region, The New York Times reports. With the help of friends, they’ve been responding to the letters—many of which are real tear jerkers in this recession-racked holiday—and trying to meet kids’ Christmas wishes. The men live on the street that was once the home of Clement C. Moore, the man made famous for penning the children’s Christmas classic “A Visit From St. Nicholas,” or, as it is now more popularly known, “The Night Before Christmas.”
