James Corden Stars in Crosswalk Production of ‘Grease’

'Late Late Show' host puts on musical at L.A. intersection.

William Shakespeare famously wrote “all the world’s a stage.” James Corden took those words to heart this week as he has starred in and directed a production of the classic Broadway musical Grease—performed only during red lights at the intersection of Beverly Blvd. and Genessee Avenue in Los Angeles.

The Late Late Show host and Tony Award winner led his cast into the crosswalk and performed selections from Grease for 15 seconds at a time, bolting back to the sidewalk when the light turned green.

How was this accomplished? There’s also a behind the scenes featurette that shows the blood, sweat and tears these actors put into the production.
