Vanity Fair has digitally removed actor James Franco from the cover of its Hollywood issue amid recent sexual-misconduct allegations, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sources cited in the report say Franco sat for a photo shoot and gave an interview for the magazine’s annual Hollywood Portfolio, shot by Annie Leibovitz. But allegations of “inappropriate” and “sexually exploitative” behavior that surfaced after Franco won a Golden Globe award for The Disaster Artist prompted the magazine’s editors to change their mind. “We made a decision not to include James Franco on the Hollywood cover once we learned of the misconduct allegations against him,” a Vanity Fair spokesperson was quoted as saying in the report.
