The U.S. picked up its second Olympic gold in Pyeongchang overnight as Jamie Anderson came out on top in Snowboard Slopestyle, repeating her success from 2014’s Sochi Games. Despite terrible conditions—which saw Sunday’s qualifying round canceled and today’s final delayed by 75 minutes—Anderson scored an 83 on her first run, winning her the gold. Anderson’s victory follows Sunday’s gold for 17-year-old Red Gerard in the men’s Slopestyle, cementing the U.S. at the top of slope-snowboarding for both men and women. “I’m feeling so happy,” Anderson said after her win. “I’ve gone through so much this last year just preparing for the Games and defending the gold is definitely not an easy position to be in.”
