Japan’s Shinzo Abe Quote-Tweets Trump Bashing Senator

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s Twitter account accidentally quote-tweeted a post from President Donald Trump’s account bashing Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) while attempting to express excitement about their afternoon meeting on Thursday, according to CNN. “I too look forward to having fruitful talks with my great friend President @realdDonaldTrump as always,” Abe wrote, with a tweet calling Flake “a Flake” underneath. Flake told CNN he had “no reaction” to the tweet, and the tweet on Abe’s account was “quickly deleted.”
