Jeanine Pirro, also known as “Judge Jeanine” of Fox News fame, has “repeatedly told Trump’s aides and advisers over the last 18 months that she’s interested” in becoming attorney general, sources told Politico. Despite her best efforts, two White House sources said that President Donald Trump is “not seriously considering” Pirro for Jeff Sessions’ position. Trump reportedly told Pirro about the possibility of giving her a “federal judgeship” in November, but the source claimed that the comment was made out of politeness rather than seriousness. Pirro has reportedly mentioned the possible job opportunity to Fox News employees, who have “laughed at her frequent mentions[.]” This comes after another TV personality, Larry Kudlow of CNBC, was nominated to be Trump’s top economic adviser.
