Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe’s son, Perry Inhofe, died Sunday in a plane crash in their home state. The twin-engine plane, which Perry was believed to be piloting, crashed at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday in a wooded area near Owasso, a Tulsa suburb. Investigators said it could take a while to figure out exactly what happened, given the fiery crash and the location. Inhofe, 52, was an orthopedic surgeon who lived in Tulsa, and has had his commercial pilot’s license since 2009.
