Former Democratic presidential candidate Jim Webb said Thursday that he will not run for president as an independent. The former Navy secretary for Ronald Reagan said he doesn't believe he has enough resources to sustain a viable campaign. “Theoretically it could be done, but it is enormously costly and time sensitive, and I don’t see the fundraising trajectory where we could make a realistic run,” Webb said.
