Jimmy Carter Teaches Sunday School

Despite announcing just days before that he was undergoing treatment for brain cancer, former President Jimmy Carter taught church school classes for roughly 45 minutes Sunday. Carter teaches roughly 40 Sunday school classes a year, for which he returns home to Plains, Georgia. For this particular service, the church went a few hundred over capacity. Carter has said that he will continue to teach at Emory University, and if his doctors allow it, he will go to Nepal for Habit for Humanity in November.
