On last night’s edition of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the titular host and the greatest backing band in late night, The Roots, were joined by the Sesame Street gang for a special sing-along. The crew huddled together in the Late Night Music Room to perform a rousing rendition of the Sesame Street theme song on classroom instruments.

Fallon’s become known for his creative musical numbers, from the “History of Rap” series with BFF Justin Timberlake to his dead-on impersonations of everyone from Neil Young to Eddie Vedder, but the “classroom instruments” performances are arguably the most smile-inducing.
