Sean Spicer, or “Sporty Spicer” as Jimmy Kimmel calls him, “really stepped in it today.” During his monologue Tuesday night, the host could not help but highlight the “absolutely incredible” statement the White House press secretary made during his daily briefing. A statement that “if it wasn’t so disturbing would be ‘Hitlarious,’” Kimmel joked.
In his attempt to defend President Donald Trump’s missile strike in Syria, Spicer told reporters, “Hitler didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons.”
“Which of course is very wrong,” Kimmel added. “Hitler infamously used Zyklon gas to kill millions of innocent people.” Before playing the clip of Spicer’s comments, Kimmel urged his viewers to “listen closely” and they just might hear the press secretary’s inner monologue.

“Oh no, did I just defend Hitler? Hitler?! I think I did. Why did I even do that? Why even bring up the Holocaust? At press secretary school, the one rule is never defend Hitler!” Kimmel imagined Spicer thinking to himself. “Oh my God! Of course Hitler gassed people! I learned that in high school, we all did. What the hell are you doing, Sean, you stupid, stupid, stoop! I just want to go to Cabo…”
“Sean Spicer might be the only press secretary who needs a press secretary,” Kimmel concluded.
