In the wake of Donald Trump Jr.’s wife, Vanessa, filing for divorce, stories have surfaced in the tabloids alleging that the son of President Donald J. Trump conducted an affair with Celebrity Apprentice contestant and pop singer Aubrey O’Day around the time his wife was pregnant with their third child (they have five).
Jimmy Kimmel, who’d avoided the initial Don Jr. divorce news, couldn’t resist this one.
“Today we are bombarded by stories that say Donald Trump Jr. had an affair with a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice. And I’ll tell you something, when I saw the headline, my first thought was, ‘Oh, please let it be Gary Busey,’” cracked Kimmel. “But it wasn’t Gary Busey. The celebrity apprentice little Donnie allegedly had sex with while his wife was pregnant is Aubrey O’Day. She was in the singing group that Diddy put together called Danity Kane.”

O’Day finished third on the fifth season of the reality-TV competition series Celebrity Apprentice, which aired from Feb. 19-May 20, 2012. The pop singer came in third place, with Don Jr. serving as one of the show’s guest judges.
Kimmel’s team dug up a flirtatious clip between the pair where, according to the comedian, “sparks had begun to fly.”
In the clip, Don Jr. is discussing a tagline for a mop with a contestant that’s, as he says, “a play on how many people you’ve slept with.” This prompts O’Day to chime in, “What’s your number, Donald?” at which point the real-estate heir’s face goes beet red.
“Why, I haven’t seen Donald Jr. that red-faced since he fell asleep in daddy’s tanning bed,” said Kimmel. “Between Stormy Daniels and this Aubrey O’Day, Celebrity Apprentice was essentially the Trump family Tinder. It’s no wonder they wanted to keep it on the air.”
Stormy Daniels, of course, is the porn star who says the president had an affair with her in 2006, then directed his personal lawyer pay off, silence, and intimidate her in the years since. Daniels also claims Trump repeatedly dangled a spot on Celebrity Apprentice to her as part of his effort to get her into bed.
Internet sleuths, meanwhile, have managed to uncover flirty tweets between Don Jr. and O’Day, as well as a song O’Day released in 2013 about an affair titled “DJT,” which may or may not be about Don Jr. but match his initials.
Kimmel played a portion of the dreadful song, which boasts lyrics like, “I hate me for loving you, hate you for letting our love die.”
“Well, you have to hand it to Aubrey O’Day: She hated him before everyone else did. She was early on that,” joked Kimmel. “How is it possible she released a song ‘DJT’ and we are just finding out about it now? He’s the president’s son! We need to do better, people. Everybody needs to pitch in on this, OK?”
