For Jimmy Kimmel, the most shameful part of President Trump’s recent Cabinet meeting was a moment where nobody spoke up.

“There are Trump Cabinet officials who’ve privately, very privately, been expressing frustration with Elon Musk,“ Kimmel explained in his monologue Wednesday. ”But when they were all together in a room and a reporter asked them about that, no one had a thing to say."

He showed a clip of the Cabinet members being asked their thoughts about Musk’s presence in the Trump administration. Not only did no one say anything against him, but they all gave him a round of applause.

“What an adorable group of eunuchs,” Kimmel replied.

“By the way, let’s watch the end of the video again. Watch Marco Rubio,” said Kimmel. He replayed the clip, zooming in on an unenthusiastic Rubio, who could only manage one polite clap.

“Marco Rubio might be the only semi-normal person who’s like, ‘Ah, one clap,’” Kimmel joked. “Marco my words: He will be the first one out.”

Kimmel also showed a clip of Musk talking about one of DOGE’s recent mistakes. Musk acknowledged that DOGE had “very briefly” canceled funding for Ebola prevention efforts.

Musk explained, “I think we all want Ebola prevention, so we restored the Ebola prevention immediately.”

“Oh, well, that’s fine then,” Kimmel replied. “He only canceled our Ebola prevention for a couple of days. Calm down, everybody!”

Kimmel continued, “That’s not an excuse! Ask the doctor. ‘As soon as I realized I unplugged my mother’s life support to charge my iPhone, I immediately plugged it back in.‘”

Kimmel played another clip from the Cabinet meeting where Trump defended the recent mass DOGE email to federal workers, which threatened to fire employees who didn’t respond in time.

Trump explained the email by saying it was designed to help the government find the “people that don’t exist.”

“He’s searching for people who don’t exist, as if email will do that,” Kimmel said.

The late-night host told Trump, “Listen, if you can’t find Melania, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t exist.”
