Joe Rogan Inserts Himself Into Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni Drama

OF COURSE

“They just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts,” Rogan said as he revealed whose side he’s on.

Joe Rogan offered his two cents on the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, telling his listeners that Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds “f---ed up” by suing her It Ends With Us director and co-star.

“They were trying to take over the movie and the whole franchise, he owned the franchise,” Rogan said of Lively and Reynolds on The Joe Rogan Experience Saturday. “The whole thing’s crazy and he’s suing The New York Times and he’s got a great case there too,” he continued. “They just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts.”

Lively and Baldoni have been in a multi-million dollar legal back and forth over the movie star’s bombshell sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni since December. Rogan said he thinks Baldoni effectively shut down her accusations with his countersuit, which features lengthy text messages exchanges between them and offered responses to each of her allegations of harassment, including his entering her dressing room while she was breastfeeding.

“You literally have a text exchange back and forth,” Rogan said on his show, where “she told him to come into the dressing room while she was breastfeeding... and then part of the complaint was that ‘He came into the dress room while I was breastfeeding.‘”

Reynolds, who at first seemed a bystander caught in the crossfire, has since become a focal point of Baldoni’s complaints. Baldoni’s lawyer alleges that the Nicepool character in his Deadpool & Wolverine was meant to mock him. Reynolds was also criticized for seeming to mock the harassment lawsuits at SNL50.

Rogan cheered Baldoni on for not being too “scared” to fight back against the “A-list” actors. “Ryan’s trying to get out of it now,” Rogan said, “He’s trying to get out of the lawsuit and they’re like, ‘You are a key part of this.‘”

The podcast host concluded his thoughts by telling his listeners that Baldoni is “known as being this really sweet, nice guy” who’s had “enough.”
