White House Chief of Staff John Kelly said on Sunday that he does not follow President Donald Trump’s tweets, and that he tells other staffers to not react to the president’s missives on Twitter. “Someone, I read the other day, said we all just react to the tweets,” Kelly told reporters traveling with Trump in Vietnam. “We don’t. I don’t. I don’t allow the staff to. We know what we’re doing.” Kelly added that he “find[s] out about them” eventually and “they are what they are.” Ahead of a news conference in Vietnam, Trump tweeted a suggestion that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is “short and fat.”
