Two of Johnny Depp’s former bodyguards are suing the actor for “unpaid wages and overtime”—and say they were exposed to “illegal substances” while taking care of him, according to the New York Post. Eugene Arreola and Miguel Sanchez claim they worked for Depp “in-house,” often without overtime pay, meal breaks, or rest periods. They were also expected to act as chauffeurs of “vehicles that contained illegal substances,” take care of Depp’s children, and supervise the actor and other “unstable” individuals in his entourage, the lawsuit says. In one incident, the two men alerted Depp that there were “illegal substances visible on his face and person while preventing onlookers from noticing” his condition, they claim. They are both seeking compensation plus attorney’s fees and damages. Depp is also being sued by his former management, which claims he “demanded they fund a lifestyle that was extravagant and extreme.”
