A member of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller’s family confronted New York Gov. Kathy Hochul at his wake on Friday, telling her, “You’re not wanted here. You have blood on your hands,” a source told the New York Post. “If you want to do something, change the bail laws,” the family member reportedly added during the confrontation. Diller was fatally shot in the stomach on Monday during a routine traffic stop in Queens. The suspect in his murder has 21 prior arrests and was on parole until last year. Stephanie Diller, his widow, spoke through tears during his eulogy on Saturday. “He wasn’t the type to sugarcoat anything, so I won’t sugarcoat this: This is devastating,” Diller said, addressing the crowd at Saint Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church on Long Island. “How many more police officers and how many more families need to make the ultimate sacrifice before we start protecting them?” Stephanie Diller added at the eulogy on Saturday. “I don’t wish this kind of pain on anyone.”
