A federal judge in Georgia dismissed a class-action lawsuit against Time Warner filed by current and former CNN employees alleging rampant racial discrimination at the company for more than two decades, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Though only two people were named as plaintiffs, attorney Daniel Meachum said he found more than 190 people who qualified for the class-action suit. U.S. District Court Judge William Duffey Jr., however, wrote that the complaint “is fraught with conclusory claims, unsupported by factual allegations sufficient to support the inferences claimed by Plaintiffs.” Meachum said he plans to address the judge’s concerns and refile.
