Actress Julianna Margulies says she was willing to reprise her role on The Good Wife for the current season of the spinoff The Good Fight but CBS wouldn’t pay her what she’s worth. Margulies told Deadline that the showrunners found a way to bring back her character, Alicia Florrick, for three episodes. “I was really excited about the idea, but CBS refused to pay my [ask],” she said. Deadline reported that Margulies was asking for the fee she earned on The Good Wife but was offered a guest-star rate for The Good Fight. “I’m not a guest star; I started the whole thing with The Good Wife,” the Emmy winner added. “I wanted to be paid my worth and stand up for equal pay. if Jon Hamm came back for a Mad Men spinoff or Kiefer Sutherland wanted to do a 24 spinoff, they would be paid.”
