Julie Chen Signals Support for Husband Les Moonves on ‘Big Brother’

Julie Chen appeared to back her husband, ousted CBS CEO Les Moonves, against a spate of sexual-misconduct allegations late Thursday. Returning to host Big Brother just days after Moonves was forced out at CBS, Chen made no mention of the scandal and did not address the allegations leveled against her husband by 12 women. But in what appears to have been a first, the TV host wrapped up the show by signing off as “Julie Chen Moonves,” a move many saw as a message she is standing by her husband. “From outside the Big Brother house… I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Good night,” she said. Chen defended Moonves when sexual-harassment allegations against him first became public in July, calling him a “decent and moral human being.”
