It’s been nearly two years since Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, and the debate over whether he took his own life rages on.
Julie K. Brown, the reporter who pursued the Epstein story at the Miami Herald and author of a new book on the case, Perversion of Justice, came on this bonus episode of The New Abnormal to share her take on the whole thing.
She shared the reasons why she believes—contrary to what the medical examiner ruled—that Epstein’s death was not a suicide.

Brown also weighed in on Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, who was is currently jailed on charged she procured girls for him. According to Brown, she’s following Epstein’s playbook to a T when it comes to hiring crazy expensive and well-connected defenders. Brown says that out of all of Epstein’s alleged enablers, Maxwell is the biggest villain.

Plus, Brown shares why she thinks Alan Dershowitz is obsessed with her.
