The Supreme Court announced Wednesday that 81-year-old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery this morning to place a stent in her right coronary artery. She had the surgery after a coronary blockage was discovered. She went to the hospital after she experienced discomfort Tuesday night while doing routine exercise. She will leave the hospital in the next 48 hours. She had recently said she has no plans to step down.
