Rapper Kanye West has reportedly been released from UCLA Medical Center following nine days of treatment for what has been described as a “mental breakdown” after he delivered a rant against Jay Z and Beyoncé as a concert in Sacramento. West subsequently canceled his remaining tour dates and was admitted to the hospital on Nov. 21 to treat “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.” The day before his release, US Weeklyreported that West was attempting to record music from his hospital bed against the wishes of his wife, Kim Kardashian West, who remained by his side throughout the ordeal.
