Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are hot favorites to be the most shy and retiring couple in showbiz in 2017.
Kanye will be joining his wife in adopting a significantly lower public profile in the months ahead, following his release Wedneday from a UCLA hospital where he was receiving psychiatric care for a reported nervous breakdown that saw police called to his trainer’s house and resulted in West being transported to the hospital handcuffed to a gurney.

West had been working at a frenetic pace, playing 40 dates in 86 days prior to his hospitalization, which was reportedly triggered by the anniversary of his mother’s passing. Sources said Kanye had failed to properly grieve at the time of his mother, Donda’s, death.
Kanye is said to still be “in a fragile state.”
He has previously rapped about psychiatric medication on his Life of Pablo album, writing, “You ain’t never seen nothing crazier than / This nigga when he off his Lexapro.”
She has not posted on social media since the terrifying incident and production on Kim’s reality-TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has not resumed since the Oct. 3 attack.
Some reports say that while E! has enough footage to play out the current series, a question mark now hangs over the future of the ratings-topping show.
Hollywood Life quotes a source as saying: “Kim is taking things one day at a time and has no plans for what she or Kanye will share with the cameras. Kim’s main focus is being a wife for her husband in his time of need, not being a reality star.”
Kim and Kanye out of the headlines?
Unlikely as it may have seemed two months ago, now you'd be unwise to bet against it—at least for a couple of weeks.
