The duchess and Prince William returned to Kensington Palace, where a royal spokesman said she will be undergoing a “period of rest.” Catherine, who is thought to be eight weeks pregnant, is expected to stay in London to be near her doctors while she is treated for hyperemesis gravidum, a form of extreme morning sickness—although the duke and duchess are still expected to travel to Sandringham to spend Christmas with the royal family.
