Keegan-Michael Key, the lanky, clean-shaven half of Key & Peele, has fun spoofing J.K. Simmons’ maniacal conductor from Whiplash in folk-rocker Bhi Bhiman’s latest video “Moving to Brussels.” Sporting a bald pate and black T-shirt, Key puts the screws to Bhiman as he tries to get through the song off his latest album, Rhythm & Reason.
Key doesn’t go off the rails and throw a chair at Bhiman in the clip, but he does make him play speedy Van Halen-esque guitar riffs, which is almost as abusive.
