Kelly Sadler, Aide Who Mocked John McCain, Out at the White House

Kelly Sadler, the White House press staffer who made a crass remark last month about Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), is no longer working at the White House, CNN reports. During a private meeting last month, Sadler dismissed McCain’s opposition to Gina Haspel, whom President Donald Trump nominated to lead the CIA, by saying the senator is “dying anyway.” McCain is receiving treatment for brain cancer and has not returned to Capitol Hill this year. Sadler never apologized publicly, but called McCain’s daughter, Meghan, to apologize.
