The new docuseries “Fallen Idols” portrays Aaron Carter as just one of his brother’s many alleged victims, including underage girls who say they were raped by the Backstreet Boy.
“Aaron would be so grateful that his story lived beyond the tragedy,” producer Aaron Pearce wrote on Instagram.
“I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time,” Jane Carter, mother of Bobbie Jean, told TMZ.

In a Facebook post, Jane Carter writes that her son's death “was never investigated...as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past.”
Carter was found dead in a bathtub in November. Authorities reportedly ruled out drowning as the cause, and his family now points to an alleged drug deal from earlier that day.
The late teen heartthrob previously spoke about being addicted to huffing on a 2019 episode of “The Doctors.”
