Soon after the New Jersey senator was found guilty on all charges, Democrats wasted no time in calling for his resignation.
The juror was dismissed after a woman dropped a bag of $120,000 off at her home, promising more if she voted to find the case’s seven defendants not guilty.
The senator, who’s currently on trial for bribery and corruption, has secured the 800 signatures necessary to appear on the ballot as an independent.

The husband and wife are standing separate trials accused of taking bribes from foreign businessmen.
He will likely argue that she “withheld information” and “led him to believe that nothing unlawful was taking place,”according to a newly unsealed filing.
In exchange for a car, Menendez was to meddle in a criminal investigation into Jose Uribe’s business associates, prosecutors charge.
The embattled New Jersey senator warned his colleagues in a 20-minute speech that “the sky is the limit if they want to pursue you.”
The police report said, “Ms. Arslanian was not at fault in this crash,” citing that the man was jaywalking.
Eric Ulrich has “misus[ed] his authority in every public service position he held,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said Wednesday.
“You could be charged with bribery,” one subordinate warned him.
